Gold does not worry about protecting its glitter,

Shine is its inherent nature.

Something that makes it unique & worthy.

It knows that its strength lies in its purity.

 

Many who emulate it are well in its sight,

But it is unshackled with their attempts to look bright.

As no matter how much they pretend to shine,

The truth prevails that their lustre is sublime.

 

Insecurity dwells in the pretext of a self-proclaimed glory,

Fake propositions do not earn a success story.

Genuineness is never in search of visibility,

For confidence lies in being aware of one’s ability.

 

Needs and utilities will evolve with time,

What’s significant today may tomorrow turn futile.

What matters is how far have you been able to rise,

Craving for adulations will only make you fragile.

 

What’s unreal will eventually fade away,

And that what remains will find its way.

More than your glitter, what’s important is your endeavour,

Your strength lies in your ability to remain pure.

Communication has a lot to do with our attitude. This thought struck me while pondering over the subject of effective communication with one of my teammates. It is essentially true that effective communication goes beyond the dynamics of language and talking well with people. The essence of it lies in getting, What, How, and When to convey a message right. And this reflects the maturity of a person.
