A New Year Wish!
The clock struck 0’clock and an ear deafening sound exploded in the party hall. It was my party host who was excitedly wishing and urging people to welcome the New Year. Yeah! True a new year was really there, but what about “happy”? I really wonder at times why everyone celebrates so much for that one night. But on a deeper thought I feel that if they didn't they wouldn’t have been saying “happy”. Knowingly or unknowingly we keep saying it because we are lost in the spirit of celebrations. From the lightest music to the hardest drink we have it all in our parties. Lost so much into it that we really forget who we are and what are we going through and sadly I guess that makes us say “happy”. The year is new but the life is still a continuation and nothing miraculously is going to make it happy. So what does it take to be happy throughout the year? The answer is simple and that is “your acceptance toward it”. Start being happy and stop measuring it. I am sure it will not cost you a million $ to live your feelings. So that at the end of next year you and I can celebrate our happiness…instead of just hoping and wishing to be happy.
Have a pleasant new year!!!
